1. The distant cloud looks dark underneath as the consequence of the higher sun’s altitude compared to the cloud.
2. The closer cloud looks brighter underneath because of sun’s reflection on earth surface.
3. Pilot or passenger of the airplane sometimes see the sun looks under the horizon because the sun’s photon goes bendy due to Downwards Universal Deceleration in which the air strikes up the photon. Air is denser than photon.
