Different Beauty Standards, Case in a Mall

Admin of Youtube’s Orvala Channel told her experience in a mall:

Some little girls ran to her and said “Wow you’re beautiful!”. And then she replied: “YOU are beautiful”

A lot of people here adore fair skin, sharp nose, and angelical face while they think brown skin looks “dirty”. Whitenings got good sells in here.

Then again, what matters more is the deed, not the look instead 🙂

Old Grandpa with Cigarette

Indonesian cigarette (kretek) is made of tobacco and clover with certain ‘sauce’. On its pack it reads, among others:

“Warning: Cigarette Kills You”

While many people smoke till old ages. There is question: how come that grandpa is still alive and well? Not killed by the cigarette?

It’s not about pros cons on cigarettes. Only questioning the coherence of such statement.

Cigarette is bad? Maybe, dunno, but when it comes to the right tobacco and the right clover, which can be bought at fresh tobacco store — tobacco without brand, the cigarette becomes exiting. It feels good, feels really fresh, and healthy.

Believe it or not.

Foreigners Often Inform Us Things We Don’t Know, This Time: Indonesia’s ‘Fragrant’ Soil ??? What???

Nice Japanese girls from YouTube’s channel : Orapopo

The aroma between Indonesia and Japan are different, isn’t it?
Do you understand?
I can understand it but I cannot explain it
But in Indonesia there is Indonesia’s aroma
It’s more fragrant
and strong

That’s new to me, and I believe all Indonesians don’t know this stuff before till getting told by foreigners — from various countries.

I have found so far similar statements from some Europeans on YouTube.

Conclusion: our nose is not as sensitive as foreigners’. 😅

Let’s go to NikolasCestuje channel. She just arrived lately at Soekarno Hatta Airport after Covid break for 1 year and a half in Czech republic.

and now I am in quarantine so I cannot go anywhere
so I can only open the window and breathe
because that is what I like: soft air
a bit hard though, and hot, and pollution
and everything… and those stuff are what I like a lot and I had missed it for a long time in Czech

and she said such a scent “can only be found in Jakarta”. Not in night time, but only in day time.

That even made me wonder why???

As to such scent, those foreigners have stated similar frase: “it cannot be explained”.

So we Indonesians cannot get a complete explanation then.

Moreover, how to explain abstract things such as ‘scent’ or ‘aroma’???

Similar to ‘love’, ‘sweet’ or such, no single language can describe it. 😅

The Moving Universe by Vertical is Real: Hovering Helicopter Case

“The Universe is MOVING VERTICALLY” can be proven with a hovering helicopter, especially when gravity is officially admitted as having “died”. Hovering helicopter means an accelerating / decelerating earth & the whole universe at the same rate.

The blades gives the energy for helicopter to move upwards. If it looks at rest, because there is still gravity assumption whose proof has never experimentally be found since its birth.

The next chapter after “gravity doesn’t exist” will be “the moving Universe”.

Was It The Quinine, or The Natural Water Instead that Cured The Paralyzed Indian?

There was a story describing a paralyzed Indian reaching a pond by crawling. And then he drank its natural water till one day he was able to walk again. The story gave credit for quinine trees around the pond as the factor for his recovery.

What was the proof that quinine is the remedy for paralyze? Did anybody cure the paralyzed with quinine?

I tend to believe: It was the Natural Water that cured the Indian.

In The Bible, people are described will drink water from river/nature. And it does give a better health, at least in my experience.

Vina Panduwinata, a Legend Getting Old

At Tulus’s performance she attended and then asked to join singing.

She was about to start her career in Europe but there was certain ‘nontechnical trouble’, that drove her return to Indonesia and became a prominent singer.

And here is the original audio of Makin Cinta.  Songwriters: Loka Manya Prawiro, Meisje

Dunia Kudamba, songwriter: Rully Johan

September Ceria, songwriter: James F. Sundah

Music for the last two songs : Addie MS

Reza Artamevia, Perfectionist?

Once she refused to release a full album of hers. Everything about the album was completed, and the next step was just to release to public. But, yeah… it was canceled.

Reza is one of legends.

Song title: Berharap Tak Berpisah (Hope Not To Separate), 2002

Song writer : Denny Chasmala

This is quite an old song (2002) so far is a popular chose to sing at informal gatherings or stages.

Wow This German Lady Ordered The Most Spicy Food Available!

The restaurant attendant offers the food with various rate of spiciness : from level 1 to level 8.

And then she chose “8”.

I swear I don’t dare to taste the level 8. Even I believe most Indonesian people won’t be that dare either. Perhaps they will pick the level 2 or 3 or 4.

Spicy food is like fire. ‘Little fire’ is great, but not ‘big fire’ at all.

For certain people, not majority, very spicy taste is preferable, even addicting.
