Highspeed train can go up to 360 kph. The actual speed might be less than that, but not too slow in 48 kph. .

The earth is flat and south polar centered. It fits reality in travel etc.

This Russian lady, Mariya, is used with strict discipline and punctuality, and being late is like a “big sin” that results anger. Even she has to be at the spot of invitation a half hour before the official time informed.

One day she came late for a half hour, not because of her fault, but because of her Indonesian friend changing the schedule. And then she was shocked because no one was mad at her for her coming late. Even they greeted her with smile and happy faces. Not a single word of blaming expressed.

Weird thing (for foreigners) about punctuality in Indonesia: Coming late is a common thing, especially in informal occasions at the extent if an Indonesian invite their friends or family for gathering and targeted time is set at 13:00, he/she will inform the guests that “the gathering takes place at 12:00”. And viola… the guests will be “punctual” at targeted time: ((( 13:00 ))). And no one gets mad over their coming late for one hour. It is among cultural shocks for foreigners from, perhaps, all other countries: Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Egypt, etc.

There is an expression about Indonesian “habit” of coming late: “Jam Karet” which means “Rubber Watch” because they are in habit of coming late.

So if you happen to come late in an invitation here, don’t worry, even you don’t have to apologize for coming late, even if you do, they say: “it doesn’t matter, that’s okay” or such. No one will get mad at you, because coming late is not an issue in this country. 😅

There is a new slang in Indonesia: “santuy” which comes from “santai” or “relax” or “not taking something too seriously”, sometimes with connotation “being relax” over some kind of stupidity, illogical, but hilarious”. Because no serious consequences happened.

This is one instance of “santuy”. 👌🤔

He just hold the role as the Chief of Arm Forces. Used to be the former Governor of Military Academy in Magelang in the year 2018 to 2020.

He made several breakthroughs in the military academy, among others:

1. Building a church for Catholic students and a vihara for Buddhist students for all worship houses had been available around the academy but Catholic and Buddhist worship houses.
2. Beating practice by senior students at junior students was terminated.
3. Nutrition was fully served, i.e. no budget cutting for students’ meal. No fee for officers from catering service.

So by such breakthroughs, the military academy as the center of future military leaders had become a conducive environment.

For point 3, the students were happy afterwards for the food became more ‘luxurious’. The meat was much bigger than before, there were cocktail etc. each particular days, and once a month the students had special cuisine: Beef Steak.

Why is Beef Steak consider as the most luxurious meal? Isn’t Indonesia known as the producer of delicious foods with ‘countless’ variety? Rendang and nasi goreng were rated as the 1st and 2nd most delicious food on earth by CNN poll in 2018. There are also sate, bakso, gado-gado, pempek, ayam goreng, soto … (too many)

Yes, all of those cuisines are common and available everywhere. Local people consider certain foreign foods are preferable for recreation. There are pizza, KFC, McD, Turkish kebab, Arabian nasi kebuli, Japanese food, etc. and… Beef steak rules. Beefsteak is consider the king of foreign food.

Everything good is initiated by a good leader. Including in food stuff. 😁😎

That even made me wonder why???

As to such scent, those foreigners have stated similar frase: “it cannot be explained”.

So we Indonesians cannot get a complete explanation then.

Moreover, how to explain abstract things such as ‘scent’ or ‘aroma’???

Similar to ‘love’, ‘sweet’ or such, no single language can describe it. 😅

“The Universe is MOVING VERTICALLY” can be proven with a hovering helicopter, especially when gravity is officially admitted as having “died”. Hovering helicopter means an accelerating / decelerating earth & the whole universe at the same rate.

The blades gives the energy for helicopter to move upwards. If it looks at rest, because there is still gravity assumption whose proof has never experimentally be found since its birth.
