Alex, a Swissian Guy Prefer Living in Rural Area: Good at Indonesian Style Jokes

Everybody has the definition about “ideal place to live”. Some prefer metropolitan town with complete modern facilities, some prefer rural area with peaceful atmosphere, nice neighbors, many friends, relaxing life, natural environment etc.

He moved to Pangandaran, West Java, and runs a small restaurant with main cuisine baked fish.

Now he is able to speak either Indonesian and Sundanese. In his place the dominant language is Sundanese.

When eating bread, he told the reason of eating bread:

“To prevent from losing my ability (getting forgotten) of speaking English” 😁

It is kinda the developing of an old local joke:

“If you wanna be able to speak English, just eat breads”

The characteristic of Indonesian Jokes:

“Detaching from Logic” and “lunatic”πŸ‘Œ

Pacitan Shore is The Best in Java?

A local girl recommended Pacitan shore to Maia, an Italian Bikepacker. She said “Pacitan shore is the best in Java”.

Is it? You decide.

Pacitan shore looks like the legend Raja Ampat in Papua – at eastern part of Indonesia Archipelago.

~ Indonesia has about 17,000 islands ~

Note:

Indonesia is more than the province of Bali.

There are so many beautiful places for tourism, yet almost all of them are not so popular, even for local citizens like me.

You cannot visit all of those destinations within your entire life time.

You need to reborn several times to visit them all. ^_^

THE VOICE BULGARIA, Steelheart’s “She’s Gone”: I Hope Denden be Okay

Did he know that such singing technic is dangerous to the throat, even its original singer didn’t do that. Such singing technic sounds great, but….

Several months ago he visited Bulgaria to see his adoptive parents (why becoming adoptive parents? because they love Denden’s singing) and then they suggested him to join the singing competition.

You know what?

After his performance on the video, he was DISQUALIFIED WITHOUT EXPLANATION. πŸ€”

Commenting on Other People’s Body is a Common Thing

Translation:

(Javanese)

“You think by appearing your side BODY (when selfying), you would look SLIM? FAT people usually take self picture by shooting their side BODY …..”

How would you respond when a (stranger) Indonesian say to you:

“You look a bit fat”

“Have you boyfriend/girlfriend?”

“Are you married?”

“Where are you going?”

“Have you taken a bath?”

“Have you had your breakfast?”

“When are you gonna get married?”

“What is your job?”

“How many children do you have?”

“How old are you?”

And… These are common conversations in Indonesia. No hard feeling, no bad intention.

Maybe it’s just an expression of care, or intimacy, or even just joking around, or mere a common thing without negative connotation. πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜…

One Myth of Modern Physics Ended: Speed of Light “Bann”

So far students & scientists still think “an object cannot go beyond the speed of light”.

This is nonsense, even a ‘thought scandal’ resulted from a habit of memorizing the lesson without questioning.

Speed is speed, you can go as fast as possible, even beyond the speed of light.

The continually speeding for the earth by 1 g will go beyond the speed of light, even mind blowing speed.

Just an illustration based on earth age:

Trillions kps is not impossible at all.

Just for 6000 years (if considered the Adam era) the speed have reached trllion mps.

what if millions years? WOW. It’s unimaginable.
