This Rich Guy Chose Street Food

Culturally, westerners go to fancy restaurants, when going to Indonesia, why he chose street food? Finally we know the reason: As a tourist, he wanted to experience different thing. He was kinda obsessed with street food here by watching Netflix before.

Even though several times he had problem with stomach (most probably due to spicy food… or else?) he never complained a single word and continue to go street food.

Felipe Looks Much Younger Than His Younger Brother. Why?

No research performed yet 🙂

But look both brothers.

Felipe
Felipe’s younger brother

Felipe Valdes, a Brasilian, began to move and live in Indonesia – alone – at teenager age, and he went to high school in Indonesia. Now he is thirty something (32?). More than 10 years living in Indonesia then.

Lately he visited his homeland Brasil, and met his younger brother, whose look is common for Brasilian at his age (twenty something).

But Felipe looks much younger .

Is it due to Indonesia factor? Water? Food? Atmosphere?

Maybe, but then again, no research been done yet 😀

Export the Revolution!

No, it’s culture! ^_^

Indonesia exhibition held in Paris.

Anggun tries becoming a sinden (Javanese traditional singer).

Unbelievable, the international singer is less ‘fluent’ than original sindens.

It’s understandable, because Anggun is, of course, used to sing modern songs.

What factors make Indonesians began to appreciate their cultural legacies from the past?

Among others — it might be among the most significant ones — is:

Foreigner’s appreciation, without which, such tradition only exists among traditional societies and humble stages.

Here is Anggun’s debut as an international singer years ago: “Snow on the Sahara”.

What does a sinden sound like?

In the song “Kala Cinta Menggoda” (“when the love seduces”, Asia’s best song back then) Chrisye collaborated with a sinden named Waljinah (a prominent name too). Please go to 2:42 and at end part.
