Papuans are very musical, they like to sing and dance. Even in wedding ceremony, the way they walk is a bit faster and resembles a little running as the expression of dancing.

I found they are usually from Malaysia. So far I only found only one channel from Brunai.

Believe or not, I learn about Indonesia from them. They present so many things about Indonesia that I didn’t know before.

Something different — and awesome — from them is: They mostly start their video with prayers for the viewers such as good health, good fortune, happy, safe or such.

Malaysians are among most genuine nations that I ever found. They are keen and appreciate good things with sincerity, without drama. Indonesia should learn from them. That’s my personal opinion.

Some of Indonesian Youtubers might do the same, but with shorter words and fewer points of prayer.

Why do they pray for strangers? It probably because that’s a Malaysian culture, or perhaps they believe when you pray for others, you got what you pray too, as stated in the Hadith: the life and sayings by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

And what about Indonesian viewers?

I frequently found they give prayers at comment section especially in religious theme.

In a channel of Indonesian expat in Saudi Arabia, he prays for pilgrims, even the mutual viewers — along with their families.

Prayer for granted pilgrimage, abundant fortune, good health.

Amazing culture: people in the cars respect pedestrian.

Not less amazing there is ‘street entertainment’ for strangers. 👍

The interviewer is Indonesian citizen, the other one is from Chinese main land that has lived in Indonesia since 2018.

They also talk about Yogyakarta and Surakarta AKA Solo, two Java island’s neighboring cities that have superb residents.

They are so kind, no racist, always smile and helpful.

Both cities amaze not only foreigners, but also Indonesian citizens from other areas.

Not all Indonesians have such high standard of kindness, politeness, gentleness and friendliness.

Everytime we ~as Indonesians~ go there, there will be relaxing vibes.

It is nearly the same as going to Mecca and Medina.

And? : Bali.

That’s my personal experience as a Jakarta resident. I believe Jerusalem has similar characteristic too. But I never went there.

In sacred cities: Mecca and Medina, by default, stressful feeling go away. Instead of Yogyakarta and Surakarta, it’s Bali that has vibes resembling those sacred cities.

Is it due to frequent worshipping factor? I believe so. Let researchers go action.

Note:

China is a great nation. But as to ‘dirty toilet’ in China, it can be better and clean as in western countries if there is communication submitted to the government in any level.

Why?

Because Indonesia experienced such ‘smelly toilet’ 😂 in the past before people were ready to change.
