There are certain street foods that ain’t fit to foreigners, due to its taste, texture, or else.
Perhaps not 100% of them who dislike it
but if it comes to a fruit called Durian, nearly 100% foreigners dislike it.
The interesting part is: Nearly 100 % Indonesians like Durian, and it’s probably the most expensive fruit among local fruits.
Russian girl: Before and After hanging out with Indonesians.
Before: No Smile Expression.
After: Cannot Stop Smiling.
There are countries in which smile to strangers is consider weird. Such person could be thought as “ODGJ” i.e. Orang Dengan Gangguan Jiwa AKA Person With Mental Problem.
But if you live in Indonesia, such issue doesn’t exist.
Is seriousness bad? Not really.
Even it gives better work and productivity.
In this point, many Indonesians need to learn.

There are always new foods on the street. You’ll never know till you try.
Those food came from anywhere in Indonesia. Bandung is well known for their creativity to make new foods. One of the reasons for tourists (either locals and foreigners) to visit Bandung is food. (Its temperature is cooler by the way).
But Jakarta always attracts best foods from everywhere to stay. Not only local foods from outside the city, but also foreign foods, such as pizza, steik, kebuli rice, spaghetti, burger, kebab/doner, sukiyaki etc.

It seems said with joke.
It’s ex-capital city of Indonesia from 1945 to 2019, before the new one comes up: Nusantara in Borneo / Kalimantan island.
After Governor Jokowi (the current Indonesia’s president) with his vice governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama AKA Ahok got in office on 2012, Jakarta began to be ‘something’.
Before it, many things seemed to be out of organized. (Advancement was surely there, but not so spectacular as happened in the new governor era).
The next/existing governor would be ashamed if he didn’t keep up the good work by previous governor Jokowi and then governor Ahok. Even the governor Ahok was the real architect in the ‘unprecedent’ Jakarta’s progress.
In a video, a YouTube reactor wishes to visit Indonesia, especially Jakarta, he says. He likes the background music as well.
FYI, that’s not Indonesian music. It most probably a Korean music. Yes, K-Pop and K-Drama are being “in” here. 😂

In bahasa Indonesia: “Kapan Nikah?”
Even local strangers could ask a foreigner such a question.
That’s one of a number of cultural shocks for newbie foreigners.
Felipe asks his friend just for a joke~
Here are other privat questions that you might find:
“Where are you going?”
“Have you had your lunch?”
“Have you taken a bath?”
“Are you married?”
“Have you a girlfriend/boyfriend?”
“How many children do you have?”
“What’s your religion?”
“Where do you live?”
“Do you have a plan to add you children?”
“What do you do for a living?”
“What’s you occupation?”
“What time do you go to bed?”
😂😂😂
But don’t worry, it’s just a habit here and those local people might not be a spy at all.
😂😂😂
It’s in Bogor regency, southwards from Jakarta. Visitors enter it along with their cars, for wild animals are also there.
