He Wants to Eat Rendang Everyday, Which Is Rated 11/10

If we see food rating videos with Indonesians, we sometimes think “is this rated fairly?”.

Anyway this video contains non Indonesian, so we may have an assumption that the food is rated fairly.

Yet the other videos with Indonesians in it (usually as a host) the food rate is relatively the same as in this video: positive. Even those Indonesians urge to rate the food as it is. No problem even if the rate is 3/10 for example.

Indonesian Woman’s Wedding Crowns from Various Ethnics

This content costs a lot of money I guess. Indonesia is called “Mather’s Land”. All those bride’s crowns are big enough, except for Javanese crown. And the different thing is there is ‘pencil tattoo’ on her forehead.

What does it mean?

The Power of Content

In order to present a cool content, creativity and new things emerge.

“Asking a stranger to continue the singing”. Not sure who initiated it, it could be from local, or from foreign. But it’s nice to see something new.

Girl: “if it’s hard (for you) to quit thinking of me …. “

Guy: “… just do it slowly”

Girl: “Okay dude, just drive slowly for your safety okay. Bye.”

Jakarta = New York + Tokyo + Sao Paolo?

It’s just an opinion by the girl. I have no idea. I haven’t been to those 3 cities. You decide.

Interestingly the guy says that Java island has the most bakeries in the world if measured per 1 km square.

It reminds me of a Dutch website mentioning: Indonesia ~and Japan~ belong to western race. (common ancestor?). Same race eat the same food?

We don’t have wheat farm. It’s imported from, among others, Ukraine.

We’ve lost most of our own history.

Sambal (Red Pepper Sauce): It Takes Time to Get Used

Once you get used to sambal, you might be an addict of sambal or spicy food.

This is the case of a number of foreigners whom I’ve watched their videos.

Not all, but there are a lot of Indonesians require sambal in their meals, otherwise they’ll feel something is ‘missing’.

Besides the hot taste, the point of sambal is its variety of taste aroma according to different ingredients: garlic, onion, pepper, terasi, tomato, soy bean sauce, even raw mango etc.

40 Spices in Konro Soup (English Subtitle)

Unbelievable! I never heard such a story before. Usually the number of spices in a food is under ten.

See? Tourists are my teachers about Indonesia. ~

Planet Rufio channel so far is among the best in cinematic touch as well as human interaction experience. He also has good sense of humor.

(there is a little mistranslation at 3:45 when he says “terima gaji”. It actually means “taking a salary”. “Thank you” in Bahasa Indonesia means “terima kasih”, not “terima gaji”) ^_^
